For this full bespoke brand identity we will throw it back to October of last year (2020) when Sue got in touch to discuss her branding and what she’d love from her rebrand. We immediately had a few things in common (my love of floral design – naturally) and our passion for writing (and being creative!)
After our call I was so excited to get cracking and Sue had already picked out an approximate colour to work with – I agreed that those colours could work with her and using colour psychology I was able to create a three more palettes for her to choose from. We didn’t go off-piste with the colour palette but I wanted to show Sue that by changing a few colours we would be able to change the entire feel of her brand.
When I work with clients I initially get to know them and their business, that means I ask questions that can be personal to them – without this, I wouldn’t be able to create a personal brand that has meaning. I also wouldn’t be able to design an identity that then has the power to add confidence to brands either.
One of the points that came across was the idea of using the six point rose from a Church that has meaning to Sue. I knew that this would be achievable and I immediately got designing for her. Sue wanted her branding to increase her confidence, have resonance and also attract her ideal clients (of course!)
We kept the designs simple, yet elegant and by adding in the illustrations around the ampersand it also appeals to Sue’s ideal client. They’ll also know that her business is relating to flowers too! I then added in the six foil rose as a full stop – it gives clarity, definition and class to her brand.
The journey for rebranding starts with digging deeper into you and your audience. It’s about getting that nod of clarification and allowing to give yourself the confidence to push further into your journey… a re-brand will allow you to do just that!
